These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the MyOTGO apps, Hub, devices, websites and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which forms part of them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Eligibility & your account
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account, and should tell us promptly if it may be compromised.
Acceptable use
- Use the Service lawfully and only for your own home/devices, or devices you are authorised to control.
- Do not disrupt the Service, gain unauthorised access, or reverse-engineer it for malicious ends.
- Do not harass others, infringe rights, or send unlawful content.
- Do not use the Service in a way that risks safety — especially with mains-powered devices; always follow the supplied installation and safety instructions.
Devices, local operation & safety
MyOTGO is designed to keep working on your local network — you own your devices and your data. Connected hardware must be installed and used per its documentation and applicable safety regulations. Some cloud features (remote access, notifications, voice/AI) depend on connectivity and third-party platforms and may change or be unavailable from time to time.
Purchases, subscriptions & payments
Core local control of devices you own does not require a paid subscription. Optional plans, credits, wallet top-ups or add-ons are described before you buy. Payments are processed by our payment provider or the app store; in-app purchases are also subject to Apple’s or Google’s terms. Prices, taxes and any renewal terms are shown at checkout, and you may have statutory cancellation rights.
Intellectual property & third-party services
The Service and its software, design and content are owned by MyOTGO or its licensors; we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive licence to use it. Content you create remains yours. The Service integrates with third-party platforms (e.g. Google, GitHub, Slack, Notion, app stores) whose own terms and availability govern their part.
Availability, disclaimers & liability
We provide the Service on a reasonable-efforts basis and may update, suspend or discontinue features. Except as required by law it is provided “as is”. Nothing limits your statutory consumer rights (in the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015). To the extent permitted by law, MyOTGO is not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses; nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
Termination & governing law
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time; we may suspend or end access for a material breach or to protect the Service or other users. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, whose courts have jurisdiction, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
